RRS has more off set than FFRR - or in simple terms RRS wheels stick out more towards the edge of the wheel arch. There HAVE been problems with owners fitting FFRR wheels to RRS which resulted in rubbing -specifically the 19" versions - wheel spacers have cured this problem though.

The main problem with fitting 19" wheels to an RRS TDv8 is the Brembo brake calipers - the calipers can rub on the alloy so only a few designs of LR wheel will fit the S/C or TDv8. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

True Vogue, and there's plenty of folks on RRS and D3 looking for spare sets 19" wheels for winter use with Snow and Ice tyres. The car I'm looking at buying is a 3month old Vogue TDv8 so comes on IMHO rather ugly 19" wheels anyway so I wouldn't be loosing a set. I'm not going to fit 20" wheels though, I've had enough of refurbing my RRS 20" wheels for a while as they are like magnets to kerbs....................... I've never scuffed the 19's purely because they have so much more side wall. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |
