Air Susp Inactive fault, no lights on eas controls??

Hi guys after 3 trouble free months of ffrr ownership I now have my first problem with the car. Yesterday whilst driving the error message Air Susp Inactive came up on the display. After googling it I have tried resetting it by full locking the steering on both sides (didn't work).

I next took the car to my mates workshop and he hooked his fault reader up and it came back with the following error - 100 Articulation Validity Fault. He cleared the error code but this has not fixed the problem and the eas controls are still not lighting up. Strangely his system was not picking up any error code second time around even tho the display was reading Air Susp Inactive?

On closer inspection of the car I have found that the front near side suspension seems to be sitting about 2 inches higher than the other 3 corners, the rest of the wheels are sitting pretty much at normal height but when driving the car feels like it is hitting bump stops, it rattles when going over uneven roads.

Does anyone have any idea on how I should go about fixing this, I have checked fuses and they are all ok. Also is the car ok to drive or does continued use risk further damage?

Thanks in advance for any advice. 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 v8 LPG, Java Black, 22' Hawke Alloys, Black Beast

Your air suspension is still locked out, it needs a hard reset with proper diagnostic tool (IID/T4/AllComms)

As Stan says, if not a gremlin, most likely leaking airbag or problem with a height sensor on one corner. .

Hi guys thanks for the advice, had a hard reset done and the fault immediately came back so it is looking like a height sensor issue as suggested.

For general information does anyone know what error codes/fault messages are thrown up when it's the actual air compressor that has become faulty? 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 v8 LPG, Java Black, 22' Hawke Alloys, Black Beast

Hi just a quick update, took the car to my local Land Rover specialists and we have discovered that the front drivers side airbag is leaking (well one on the diagnosis Stan).

I wanted to ask how much should I be paying labour wise for replacement of the strut? Also can anyone recommend any companies/websites that sell range rover parts for low prices - the best price I have found so far is £218 on eBay from a seller called Ribblevalley 4x4. 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 v8 LPG, Java Black, 22' Hawke Alloys, Black Beast

General advice is to replace the struts with Delphi ones not dunlop as they seem to last longer Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
