Been a member on the other RR/LR forums for 10 years or so with 2 P38s and a Freelander, now also have an L322 2002, which brought me here for the few queries I had, so I would like to say thank you to all those who posted advice regarding retrofitting bluetooth in place of the factory phone, it went well until the pairing, but sorted that and it's great. When finished I then had a real problem, key would not work, lock or unlock, then found it wouldn't turn in the ignition, what have I done,? back here to find out, nasty stories about replacing sc ecu and column, still before that road I take the meter out to check battery voltage, it's 7.49v, that bad, gave it a short charge and we're working again, great, must now visit Rave to see how to get that battery out should it need replacing and how to open up the bonnet more to work under there, have a crumbling spine, so may need two strong young men to lift it out unless you kind people have found a simple way (P38 is in the best location).
