No, but that's bloody shocking, I would email the dealer principal a link to this thread and tell him to get his teams arse in gear sharpish before it escalates ! |

Sounds like you got atrocious service bordering on fraud if you ask me. |

Strath stones lol one of the biggest crooks and thieves out of main stealers , heard many many tales being in the trade and I know a friend who just took 4k for a 56plate disco in mint nick px for a poxy freelander, people will never learn these type of huge dealers don't give a about anything except money and while there's so many privates paying way over the odds for poor service it will never change these places give me the all because it looks shiny and nice there far from it , rant over _____________________________________________________

Hi, Thanks for your support. You would think as this is the same dealer that I bought the car from and thinking paying for 2 years service at the time of original vehicle purchase that they would honor the contract that is in placed. I will not be letting this matter drop with the dealer. However this may have to wait until I return to the UK in 1 weeks time.

Forget main dealers and get your car to AJR Motor Engineering in Oldham - they are a small, independent garage who happen to be Range Rover enthusiasts!!

. . . From my own personal experience with another Stratstone Land Rover dealer, forget the monkey & go for the organ grinder.

Just thought I would let everyone know that this matter has now been resolved. However, not so sure that Stratstone Bury will be my preferred garage going forward. Thanks again for all your support. Francy |

Im surprised to read you bought your 2004 TD6 from Stratstone's, obviously in the last two years as you have a 2 year Service Plan... Thought yours would fall outside the age of car available from a Stratstone's main agent...

Another thoroughly recommended independent is Steve Parker Land Rover in Whitworth Rochdale. A fully paid up member of the all things Land Rover fan club. Service and prices are excellent. Steve has been going for 30 odd years. No hesitation in recommending him.

No offence taken. Vehicle was purchased with only 40,000 miles / one previous owner, and was offered the 2 year warranty as part of the purchase package. Francy. |
