United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Bonatti Grey

Thanks Paul, it is the armature that LR were talking about that some did and didn't have when built. The Discovery was much easier as they all had the capability to have a detachable tow bar fitted but the electrics were extra, a much better way of doing it I think.

Have found a company we use at work who can supply and fit a detachable Westfalia tow bar with dedicated electrics for £500 which sounds pretty good to me!

Hopefully that puts an end to this saga and I can get it booked in and sorted out.

cheers Alex

Sounds like a good deal!

As stan said there are pirated dvds on the bay of fleas i have one in mine and its perfectly acceptable, and was under £20....

Cant link to it but have a look around if you cant keep the one from the disco. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I got my 2011/12 disc from Amazon for less than £20 and has worked fine when used for 6 months now. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

I managed to keep the one from the Disco so it's all updated and working nicely.

Going to book tow bar to get that done and give it a good clean soon

Cheers Alex

Alex, the only difference with the two tow bar years are the two exhaust hangers... You will need the later type my friend Thumbs Up
