Low gas DOES give this quirky little annomoly .... I had same last year and explored all the possibilities off FUBARD blend motors etc.

^ I can con cure as I have a very similar car and very similar symptoms i,e, only cold on passenger side as gas gets lower and audible whine at idle . Takes a very long time for the gas to go down so have never traced the leak just make sure you have the rear heat/air turned on when you get a re-gas |

My 4.2 SC had the same when the AC went low. It takes about one year for it to deplete so also tiny leak and also performance reducing (to one side eventually). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I have to admit to being guilty of not using the aircon on a regular basis, which I am told you must do to keep it in good condition, but when its freezing outside its very difficult to justify hitting that little button, unfortunately I don't live in Australia or Malaysia |

Another way to look at it is A, it keeps your windows de-misted in the winter |
