I've been struggling with this for some time. I had 18's on mine when I got it, and paid £350 for the OE 19's I got now with really good wrangler tyres. Still on and not near limit nearly 3 years later.

I really fancy some Supercharged 20" wheels, but the tyres are more expensive, for less rubber.

They would prob cost over £1000 to put 4 decent tyres on, inc the wheels......

That's not a small investment.........

My fav wheels are the style 11 from the later cars, with Range Rover on one of the spokes. They are daft money.

Think I'll be sticking with the 19's at that price.

Can't argue they are not good value, but can't believe what some wheel sets fetch used.

I know what you mean, I managed to pick up some style 11s and have them bare in my garage, I will probably switch them when I do the facelift. Oddly enough I have a set of 19s that I will be trying out to see if the ride is a little softer.

Currently I have the 20" supercharged alloys as per the link and they are great alloys and the best looking of the pre 2009.

I buy my tyres from the bay as used but with good tread and in 8 years of doing so, I have never had an issue. Usually get a pair of 255 50 20s for about £120. I got my supercharged alloys with rubber for £350 all in about 2 years ago when I got my car to replace the 18s I had on it when purchased.

I know some are touchy about used tyres, but when I bought my L322 it had used tyres on it as do all used cars....... Tom
