antennae for digital hybrid

This conversion is as clear as mud to me. From the way I see it. I can replace the analogue factory fitted tv tuner in my 2006 model with RSE with a Jaguar hybrid. Part numbers are noted from other threads.

My question is, can i use the same antennae in my rear side windows or must I get something else. If I do have to replace the antennae does anyone have a recommendation?

Question

The antennas are the same, the hybrid digital tv unit is plug and play. The touchscreen Denso satnavs systems are all compatible with the hybrid tv units, but make sure you get the tv units with the correct part numbers. There are some hybrid units advertised on fleabay which aren't european spec. and they don't work.

Any hybrid tv unit with the part nos starting AH42-19C063-xx should work (the -xx suffix will be Alphabetic numbers, e.g. AA, AB, AC, etc.)

I just swapped connector from the old analogue box to the hybrid box that sits next to it and all works, 2 minute job, aerials etc all the same There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Thanks guys, that is all very helpful. I was finding some of the other threads a bit confusing. I have bought a 2006 Autobiography with RSE and it it seemed a real shame not to keep it up to scratch. Very Happy
