Plenty of things to do, but as you are in Bristol, down in Bristol docks you can visit the SS Great Britain, the first large ocean going screw propelled iron hulled ship built by Isambard kingdom Brunel in 1843 (he was famous for building the Great Western Railway).

Kemble airfield nr Cirencester (former home of the red arrows) has lots of buccaneers and other Cold War a/c lying around and jumbos being dismantled as well as being an active airfield.
