The head rest and lumber pillow are not memory controlled and don't run through the seat ECU so that's why these remain unaffected.

My Father had this on his Ford Granada some years back, he said initially he thought he was having a stroke!

It's only a small thing to add but on my car the head rest is controlled by the memory function. 2008 MY Supercharged

Mine had done this, one time similar to what you described, another time the steering wheel telescoped outwards and pitched into the full down position.

Its a minor thing, probably barely relevant, but in my 7 series I get this, I have yet to encounter it with my FFRR.
