The issue with LPG on the DI petrols (which the 5.0 is) is that if they are not cooled with fuel running through them the injectors burn at the tips. One solution has been to run a little petrol all the time at about 10% of the overall fuelling. Personally I remain to be convinced and time will tell.

Master Tech at main dealer told me that a few years ago someone bought a 4.2SC from their garage, had LPG conversion done early into ownership and it damaged the engine at a cost of £8k to repair it as warranty and good will did not apply due to the conversion. |
