Looks like Nige lost it due to a slow puncture

Yeah - I read that after you mentioned in your post yesterday jayzee, a real shame , sounds like they did a fine job just getting the team prepared to compete at Le Mans in such a short space of time - let alone qualify.

I just got back from LM in the FFRR as well. We camped just outside the Porsche Curve (Blanc). Had a great time (I need to dry out a little now). There weren't too many RR's - but the split between FFRR's and RRS's was about even.

Thanks. Yep, poor Nige was out after four laps. The Gulf Astons were better (won the trophy for best sound if nothing else) and my mate's mate who was racing for Paul Drayson finished (albeit uncategorised as they didn't complete enough laps).

Did you try a burnout in the puddle of whatever that the largish group had set up at night on the main drag? I didn't even try - just waved to the crowd. 4WD & TC do not make a good combination for smoking tires...

The "burnout" (or not) was on the way into Houx on Friday lunchtime. Thought I'd show willing. Nice V8 woofle though.
