2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Java Black
Surging

Hi , can anyone shed light on this , when I put my td6 2003 into drive or reverse , sometimes she will surge forward , or reverse if in reverse , sometimes have to break hard and again sometimes she will stall ,, doesn't matter if she is cold or up to full temp ,

The idle does change , nice and smooth sitting on 5

just read your post again, you do have your foot on the brake when you select drive or reverse dont you..

and the idle should be around 700/750 rpm.. ... - .- -.

With surging it could be sticky injectors I suggest you try a can of PREMIUM Injector cleaner like BG244 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BG244-BG-244-Pro...1173617951

Have checked idle rpm , it's sitting at 750 , just done a little test , if I let it rev when it's surging , it revs up to around 1300 then it will come back down ,,
Will try that injector cleaner
