A short video from last Sunday at Tong...

The green Grand Cherokee at the start is Will (Kingpleb) he's been having us over all this time, we don't think he's got a FF.... . The FF in front later is Paul (Paulmoran2) and Howard (SMUTT) riding shotgun, I've got Mark (Mjdronfield) in with me.

Was a nice day up till the point Paul had a mishap with some scenery, unfortunately I wasn't behind him at the time...

I enjoyed just watching that..... did the green wading FF that opened the door, (after) suffer any internal ingress? ie flooding? I see its snorkelled, and built up a bit..
I would like to do some dryer off roading, as deep puddles/wading scare me a bit.

Despite my little sideways excursion , we had a great time and surprised a few disco and defender drivers.

£650 worth of body shop work booked in for Friday, and a new rear light being delivered tomorrow ....so all is good with no real harm done apart from a painful operation to prise my bum cheeks apart that afternoon.


AFAIK, Pete didn't get any water ingress following his deep water run (x 2) and the water seen running out when he opens his door is the water that got trapped between the lower and upper door seals

looked like fun but a bit narrow in places and some pretty deep ruts without underside protection.

I did an off road event in a 6 month old Kia Sorento about 10 years ago, water over the bonnet and although I didnt do the mud run never got stuck but did put a few dents on the underside that were still there when I part ex'd it five years later.

Don't mind water or mud but would be wary of some the drops and trees not being an off road expert. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
