THANKS for the reply, i have tried that by putting the blade of the driver up at the outter edge but all that pops out is the very thin lens ? i have tried both sides and already cracked on lens. the same thing happened on both sides, ie just the lens is lifting. do you think i am not putting the driver far enough in?

The clear plastic lens is the complete fitting. The bulb is mounted on the rear of the lens.

OH OK. ON THE VIDEO AT POWERFULUK;COM THE SPORT puddle light is a bit different. they place a screwdriver under the lens at the end and push it up and then it releases a tab and the whole unit pops out which houses the lens and the bulb.

just to make sure we are talking about the same puddle lights, i am talking about the light that is up under the bottom of the wings mirrors, not the lights in the lower side of the door.

We seem to be refering to different puddle lights I was refering to the ones in the bottom of the doors.

HI NO I think looking at all the other in the had book that the lens comes out the same way as the others? but it is a very thin flimsy lens i must admit.
