Ok, so I finally got around to colour coding the mirror covers from Conor...quite pleased in fairness Whistle

I got the donor covers from Googsy and then rubbed them down, applied 4 coats of primer and then handed to a pal who has a spray shop. I almost painted them myself but decided against it at the last minute ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Cheers Stan, I agree but I did use their youtube fitting instructions Rolling with laughter

Half caps work for me as extended tow mirrors for tintent clamp on the bottom Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

They look very good. What did you rub them down with (how much sanding) and what primer please (presum it was an aerosol too)?


I ask because I know an excellent sprayer who would finish the covers as you have done but would not be intererested in doing the prep you've done.

600 grade to strip them off, they had paint on them. Simoniz Acrylic Primer, 4 coats with 1500 grade light rub over inbetween each coating....and I allowed 2 hours dry time per coat. HTH Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
