I don't have one and never seen one, but I think the venture cam goes in your horse trailer to keep an eye on the GG's while you're towing them around. Image would be displayed on central screen on the dash.

This is the venture cam intro in the NAVIGATION, TV AND TELEPHONE
SYSTEMS manual.

INTRODUCTION
The Land Rover VentureCam system consists
of one or more VentureCams, a docking station,
an antenna and a touch screen. Land Rover
VentureCam is a wireless real time motion
camera, that transmits in colour.
Up to 16 VentureCam units can be linked to the
system. These mini cameras are a form of close
circuit television viewed through the touch
screen in either full screen or reduced screen
mode. You can view all cameras linked by using
the scroll soft keys on the touch screen.
The camera mounts can be attached to any
suitable surface and the camera transmissions
viewed whenever the vehicle is within 30
metres (approximately 100 feet) distance.
This gives the user a wide variety of possible
locations where the VentureCam units can be
used.
The Land Rover VentureCam will receive other
video signals on the 2.45GHz frequency.
This is an open band frequency so if, for
example, you have a home security camera,
you may be able to select and view its signal by
selecting the channel it is broadcasting on. 2016 3.0 Vogue

according to the handbook its for the cameras to be placed around the exterior of teh vehicle to give you views, eg of the front wheels etc when offroading

Land Rover just supply the technology and it's up to you what you use it for. I'm thinking of using it to spy on my kids pinching my single malts and topping up the bottles with water. Any other suggestions for its use? 2016 3.0 Vogue

Venture Cam Uses

I use mine when I am looking to hook up my caravan.

The Venture can should come with a suction holder. Once you've slotted the camera into the holder, you can attach it to anywhere on the car that has a smooth surface, but not sure of the signal range?

Seems its good for off-roading, as you can look at wheel positions if the camera is positioned / angled towards them.

^^+1
Varied uses, personally use them for hitching horse-box & trailers [trailair not available for FF], maneuvering in tight spots...
Used to use it to monitor the horses in transit but angle was not ideal, so bought the IW fixed wide angle camera and paired it to the car.
