so have an odd problem with my lighters/power outlets in my 2006 supercharger ffrr, 1. on all 3 sockets the green ring does not glow 2. lighters do not work(i have tried 3) but usb chargers etc will work, any suggestions?

The green light problem could just be that the bulb has come out of it's placement or blown, not hard to investigate, they just pop out. (To be honest I can't say I've noticed mine lit up at night - maybe they're not supposed to? Can be a bit distracting during night driving.)

Question:

Do you need to use the actual lighter part or do you only use them for USB charging (like 99% of us!)
