we go to hillhead near brixham every summer holidays, it is a caravan club site, one of their blue ribbon ones, we go there as its one of the few sites we can get in with our 4 dogs, a lot of sites are 2 dogs only, good for the kids too, good site facilities, on the doorstep of Dartmouth which is one of our favourite places now, good base to explore from, heated outdoor pool, restaurant and bar, shop, buses into brixham from the entrance, access to torquay via ferry, we have gone for the last 3 years now and cant fault it, very well run, clean and tidy, but if you don't like or have kids, it may not be for you, although they police it well and you don't see any kids roaming around after dark, might be worth checking out

We went to the caravan club site in Looe Cornwall in the summer there weather was magic and they have an outdoor pool on site and a great play area for the kids. Seen a site called pentewan sands when we where out and about which is right on a beach and has an indoor leisure centre with a bar and restaurant on site maybe thinking of going there in the summer next year. Gone

Hillhead is a lovely site near Dartmouth, in fact there are several sites around there which are wonderful. South Devon is a great coastline with plenty to do. |

Have a look at Trewethet farm in Tintagel. Caravan Club site and it's right by the sea. Stayed there in September and loved it.
