158,000 miles and passed MOT first time!

Just had mine MOT'd. Had it inspected first and drop links were identifeid as having perished bushes, so changed for £114, fitted. Anyone comments on that cost?

Apart from that nothing else to report except rear sub frame bushes to be replaced in future, as perishing slightly.

Dead chuffed as we steam past 158,000 miles. Just goes to show that with good husbandry these can be long-lived and reliable. I haven't had to spend a cent except for servicing and brakes, tyres etc. previous owners (both die-hard forum members) did the gear box services etc.

Also, running on LPG and getting 28-30 mpg equivalent or 22p per mile. Bring on 200,000 miles!!! Bow down Very Happy Thumbs Up

Took you for a bit with drop links, probably on the labour, its about a 15 min job each side if you have done it before, but then garages have overheads I suppose.

Just done my rear subframe bushes, see the wiki Confused

Just reached 142K myself, so you give me hope too Thumbs Up .

I've owned mine for 3 years now mileage is around 126k and this year it had absolutely nothing done for the MOT. This is the first time in my 3 years that it's had a straight pass without any advisories. I guess next year might be a different story though Laughing Laughing

Yep, good to hear that these girls can be reliable.

Had my FF MOT'd in August, on 171,000 miles, and she passed without any advisories!!

Here's to many more fun filled miles.

These FFRR's only get bad press when something goes wrong...

It would be really interesting to see how many of these motors are going strong and fault free!

Poll time methinks... maybe??
