Claimed for about 3k on mine with the full approved warranty for various things, paid out on all of it except for a rear wash wipe arm.

I had the same decision to make in June and went for it. As you will already know, it's not cheap but I did have a (minor) breakdown in August and it was quite nice that I didn't have to do anything to make a claim.

If you are buying an extended warranty you will not do much better than either the LR approved or select warranties. You have to specify and pay extra for the LR assist breakdown cover so be sure that you do not have some form of breakdown cover elsewhere or you might needlessly waste money on LR breakdown cover payments.

I'm guessing LR will only do the select warranty on the cars they actually sell. |

You can get a Land Rover warranty on any vehicle that comes within the criteria of the warranty but if the vehicle has not been supplied by the providing dealer you will have to pay for a pre warranty inspection and this is the fun bit , any thing wrong will not be included . 2008 MY Supercharged

If you go with LR option make sure to take it out before current one expires to avoid the inspection. I'm in same boat as mine expires 5th Dec so was no issue extending TDV8 Vogue SE 2009.

You should be able to get an approved warranty on your car. It may need an inspection though f your current has expired. Best to call lr warranty them selves. And ask the question There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
