Just a quick note to thank all who responded to me over the past few weeks, all comments were greatly appreciated and followed up on.....what a place this is!!!!

So, got the torque converter recon done for £750 plus VAT including new fluid and filter. I thought this was a good price and what a difference it has made to the drive. Got a new fuel filter fitted too and voila, the starting problem has now gone and she sparks up in one or two turns and all temps. New LPG front end fitted and she's driving like a dream. A new set of boots next month and I like to think that'll be it for a few months. All in all 2012 spend is just shy of £7k but the smile is back, I'm back in love with her and I know why I bought another FFRR..

Thanks again.  Owning a Range Rover is the land based version of a boat...a hole in the road in which to throw regular bundles of money!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!
