Navigation question

Hi, just a quick one hopefully. When did the navigation system on the FFRR become touch screen please?

Is the older button based one a PITA (like the awful Merc one) or is it good?

Thanks

Dom

MY 2005. I can't comment on the MB system as I don't know it. I can find my way around the RR/BMW system w/o any great probs, tho.

I would not buy a non touch screen car. IMHO the push button BMW affair is not great to use and looks ancient....

Ah, so a 56 plate TDV8 would definitely be touch screen then, yes?

It's just that the dealer told me it was no the TS one.

Not sure if it has TV. Here's a photo of the dash though. Any help?

Ah, so perhaps I don't need to mind my manners quite so much over here then. I was just being a bit careful coming from D3 forums where I was used to not being quite so careful. (he said, diplomatically)

As for posting the picture, well a Gentleman would never do such a thing now would he. Wink

And before I hear cries of "You're no Gentleman", I am and I positively know this because it's written on the bog door at work. They're just a bunch of sh Censored houses aren't they? Whistle

In case she is known to anyone I shall have to remain discreet but suffice to say she's very helpful, very nice to chat to and very spoken for as well Sad

So I guess a test drive is definitely out of the question, mainly 'cos the car is too far away for now. Wink
