02-05 TD6 Vogue FRONT PADS GUIDE

Has anyone seen a guide on this site about changing front brake pads on 02-05 td6 vogue,i have been looking for days and can only see the one on the wiki but thats for the tdv8. (i take it that the tdv8s are not the same).I am not a nubie to doing brake pads but never done them on the rr and found this site invaluble for doing all the services the beast needs.

Thanks in advance (SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH HEATED SEATS)

Pads generally are pretty easy to change, the td6 and tdv8 arr completely different front setups, the tdv 8 having brembos.

The fronts on the td6 are a 2 pot version of the rears on the tdv8 basically and will disassemble refit in the same way.

Have a look at

You shouldnt need to remove both bolts on the caliper if just swapping the pads, take one out and the caliper will swing out of the way. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

If you don't manage to change them, blowing in the oposite direction you're traveling is just as effective as TD6 brakes. Laughing
