Finally - garage is tidy

The whole place was a complete mess after the summer's work with the terrace. I've finally (almost) completed the tidy-up, including the garage. Everything now in place to complete the winter/MOT prep of my VX, and start dismantling my aeroplane engine.

Hopefully, now less building work is going on, and there's less building material lying around, the place will stay tidy.

Have you noticed that there's enough space in my garage for both my cars and possibly also a Jag? I shall wait a while though. Want the rest of the jobs on the house done first, then the Jag will be a treat for myself.

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green

It's a good space... Today I have been looking online for shelving for my new garage.
Do you get through a lot of the lube? Previously..

Maybe similar to Mr Verboses shelving. It's an empty shell just now so I am starting from scratch. I am looking for shelving, racking, lighting, workbench.... The works really... Previously..

Got mine from Swiss ebay. When I picked it up the guy was also selling some tables with wheels on. Bought two - one fits under the other. They're increadibly useful and only about £15 each if I remember.

Lighting i got for free but is CCFL and not the LED type Sad

Workbench cost me £15 from ebay for a brand new worktop that was 4m long so done 2 work benches.

Plinths for them were free as well using freely picked up bricks with ready mix mortar (that was about £10 for 2 bags)

and the other benchs plinths are using my driveway blocks but as a drystone wall type affair so no mortar but very stable as its more of a storage area than a work bench.

Shelving i got from a shelving place near fiddlers ferry that was £15 per rack and each shelf can take 75kg which is more than enough for most bits and bobs.

Ebay is thy friend with so many places closing down or some liquidators as well can be a good source Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I have a slightly different version but still boltless but can be assembled in half heights as well which helps but i reckon all in it cost me £100-130 to sort out and not much more is needed to finish it off as just the lights left to hang and wire up and some sockets as well Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
