As soon as you leave JE and accelerate as you normally would you will have a huge grin with " did that just happen" and you will play all the way home

I am torn with remap...I have had my last 5 diesel's all done yet when I mentioned it to a few RR drivers they said not to bother with the TDV8...if it was down to "enough power" then I'd get it done but they all said they had heard of problems. TBH it's enough for me but I am keen to hear any evidence of reasons not to remap as I am a fan Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

I'd be interested myself in these "problems" you've been told about, as I can't recall seeing any..............

I bought RRUK's JE remapped 3.6 TDV8, it's great! I've nothing relevant to compare it to though, but I can confirm it goes like the clappers

The main issue was the added strain on the turbo's (their comments, not mine).

The turbo's for the 4.4 are quite different. There's one large turbo which does most of the work and a smaller one that comes in for high power. On the 2.7 there are twin turbo's, one feeding each bank of cylinders - same for the 3.6. |

Just had a look at the JE website and its 400 quid + VAT for the re-map. Is that value for money? |
