Scotland 2014 Range Rover Vogue SDV6 Santorini Black

Hard to say Stan.

It all feels smooth and slick but no real issue before, although I did previously ask the forum re a possible 'gearbox slam' query that I had as the car seemed at times to do that a little when stopping more briskly at lights etc... that 'query' has gone completely now... but... months ago when I mentioned it to the Master Tech he said that whilst a software upgrade eradicates the 'slam' feeling, mine had been done in the past anyway and there was no 'slam' on ours despite my query! Confused

yep ,,
sealed for life means sealed till its dead/non functional..
lots of threads on full fat gearbox issues..
i also have a cayenne turbo S.. the diffs are also meant to be sealed for life!!!
for the full fat i did a megaflush.. threads on that as well. 2011 4.4 TdV8 Nara Bronze

Gearboxes are sealed for life, but the word "life" is not defined. Life of the warranty? Life of the car? Life of the gearbox? Life of the owner? All a bit grey.

Anyway, I always go for the megaflush option. 2 reasons. 1 it changes ALL the fluid in one go so it's not a partial change, and 2. it is less invasive than gearbox sump removal. Mine always feel better afterwards but I do put some of that down to a placebo effect.

Worth doing? Well, 250 quid versus 2500 quid IF the box goes bang. 10% prevention costs. That works for me.

@ 120k + is there any regular consumables that need doing?

Air suspension this was an issue on my 06MY SC is it still problematic on these?
Battery- still terrible as ever?
Electornics- tons of stuff on these cars how do they fair from MY56 onwards?
