Just out if interest.... Did they repair/replace that badly scraped alloy before you purchased?

Don't know, there was no evidence of damage to any of the alloys on it, when I was considering buying it. One has a minor scuff on it now though Crying or Very sad Should've been old enough to know better...doh!

Good summary of the TD6. BTW, I regularly get 27-28mpg out of mine (brimmed figure) but most of that is motorway/A roads and my commute is nearly 30 miles.

Would quite like your IID tool but mine's a 2003.

I only ask as I viewed it for sale at SERE a couple of times. It had a really nasty gouge out of one of the spokes (OS REAR I think). To be honest it was poorly presented for sale and I was surprised it remained that way nearly a month. Take it when u went down they had cleaned it up Very Happy

Aye they must have got the elbow grease out by the time I looked at it the flesh. I did have a very brief look at it a couple of months before I did get seriously interested and it was very dirty and had a badly scuffed drivers door entry. All of that was sorted when I did come back to look more closely.

Very happy with it so far and is a genuine pleasure to drive Very Happy Should've been old enough to know better...doh!
