I really wouldn't bother - I have it & the kids never use it. You're far better off buying them iPads - it will be cheaper, the screens are bigger, they hold a lot more & can do a lot more - games etc. It's all my kids ever use - and they can use them anywhere, not just in the car.

I agree with Alistair, when I first started looking I had a glance at a Vogue SE with RSE, but the difference in cost was something I couldn't justify (granted SE has a few more goodies too). Our kids already have tablet PC's so I ordered 2x adjustable brackets, not as tidy as RSE but at £17 each, plus the £160 each for the tablets is way more practical and effective... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

My kids wouldn't be without it! Factory fitted on my VSE but I did tackle the retrofit on SWMBO'S D3 and it can be done. About to upgrade to a D4 which must have factory fitted RSE so make of that what you will

You may be lucky and be able to get a 5.0 sc for that money and then LPG it and get all the toys you want then

I had the RSE in my TDV8 and I think that because of the complexity of the remote control alone (the pre 2010MY ones) that its not worth the hassle.

So what you wanting for that Gaz? If its petrol then it's not for me, need to do 25k a year and unfortunately I don't own shell!! Lol Anyone seen that overfinch 2010MY on fleabag? I really like that interior!! Was in taggarts today Alan and they have 2 cars both 4.4 TDV8, one a VOGUE and the other VOGUE SE. 61 plates and both 45k. Very expensive but first car was 21k and other was 6 months younger but 36k on clock. Nice guy but I thougHt very expensive for what they were as they were pretty basic spec. all smug in my new plug! 2021 Westminster Black D300 2013 Vogue SE - gone Some Porsche Cayenne guff pretending to be a 4x4!! 2006 Vogue 2004 Vogue 2001 Vogue |

Have you calculated the actual difference in cost between a TDV8 and 5.0 SC over 25k on a longish trips?.

Got to be honest, I've driven the 4.4 TDV8 and it was a flying machine when it needed to be.
