Can you retro fit RSE to a 2010 MY car?

So firstly is it possible, and secondly if so how much we talking.

Looking for a 2010 MY car that either has it or could fit it to.

Coming back from Cayenne as it's just not big enough!!!

I really wouldn't bother - I have it & the kids never use it. You're far better off buying them iPads - it will be cheaper, the screens are bigger, they hold a lot more & can do a lot more - games etc. It's all my kids ever use - and they can use them anywhere, not just in the car.

(or another tablet - i just like iPads)

I agree with Alistair, when I first started looking I had a glance at a Vogue SE with RSE, but the difference in cost was something I couldn't justify (granted SE has a few more goodies too). Our kids already have tablet PC's so I ordered 2x adjustable brackets, not as tidy as RSE but at £17 each, plus the £160 each for the tablets is way more practical and effective... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

I have to say, my kids love the RSE and use it all the time... Thumbs Up

And the cooled seats you get in the VSE are worth their weight in gold Razz

My kids wouldn't be without it! Factory fitted on my VSE but I did tackle the retrofit on SWMBO'S D3 and it can be done. About to upgrade to a D4 which must have factory fitted RSE so make of that what you will Whistle

You may be lucky and be able to get a 5.0 sc for that money and then LPG it and get all the toys you want then Wink

Ok a 5.0 may be only had in the auctions with some miles on but there a good few 2010 tdv8 vogue and vse models about but to me I wouldn't go for a vse unless it really stood out as you can easily live without the fart sharing system and 2 iPads with headphones in the back is a bit more flexible than rse for kids over about 6yrs old Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I had the RSE in my TDV8 and I think that because of the complexity of the remote control alone (the pre 2010MY ones) that its not worth the hassle.

iPads would seem a much easier option.

Plus, my 5.0 SC AB doesn't have it and I am really liking being able to tilt the headrest to suit my mood of driving, which of course you can't do with the RSE seats as the headrests are fixed - having said that they are at least comfortable and it wouldn't put me off a car that had them fitted. Discovery 4 HSE

So what you wanting for that Gaz?

If its petrol then it's not for me, need to do 25k a year and unfortunately I don't own shell!! Lol

Anyone seen that overfinch 2010MY on fleabag? I really like that interior!!

Was in taggarts today Alan and they have 2 cars both 4.4 TDV8, one a VOGUE and the other VOGUE SE.

61 plates and both 45k. Very expensive but first car was 21k and other was 6 months younger but 36k on clock.

Nice guy but I thougHt very expensive for what they were as they were pretty basic spec. all smug in my new plug!

Have you calculated the actual difference in cost between a TDV8 and 5.0 SC over 25k on a longish trips?.

£1500 - £2000

Compared to the cost of the car and the smile on the face that is nothing.

Too much is made of the extra fuel cost.

If you can afford a newish RR you can afford the extra fuel.

Smile Thumbs Up

Got to be honest, I've driven the 4.4 TDV8 and it was a flying machine when it needed to be.

I doubt I'd buy a 5.0 SC tbh, but I've been known to be wrong!!! Lol
