Drain it off as it's not good for the crankshaft or con rods slapping it when it's running Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Thanks chaps, I'll drain some of it away.
Fortunately I have a vacuum oil pump (as per another post) so it will at least be an easy job to do Thumbs Up

Had my Porsche serviced at the main dealer and they overfilled the oil, 2 weeks later oil was spewing out the crankshaft oil seal. Gearbox had to be removed sump dropped to fit a new seal, an expensive mistake for the main dealer

A little overfill (few mm above the max cold mark) is not a problem but 1 to 1.5 liter is likely to cause some issues. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
