impressive - td6 ??

how much do you think manual 5th played a part ?

I dont think I'd have the patience for 60 the wife could handle it on her shift.

Impressive. I couldn't be arsed with 60 either though.... I once got 24mpg from a V8 petrol with an average speed of 70.

To be fair,on a decent run it's hard to force it below 20mpg - much better than the 2006 SC I had on fuel!

26MPG over 2500 miles last week blasting down to Monaco & back. Very Happy

28MPG if I drive like a grandad. Rolling Eyes

Typical average 23 on short trips. Neutral The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

I drove to Warsaw and back in my 2006 SC and it returned a very favourable 19mpg - bearing in mind we got to Essen from home on one tank....then pretty much flushed out a tank crossing the rest of Germany on the limiter Twisted Evil Land Rover Addict

I filled-up in south-east Luxembourg last Wednesday and I'm still running on the same fuel here in north-east Scotland a week later!!! Shocked The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

If you want to see a good average, just reset it when you are already doing 70mph (ish).
Saves including the fuel you burnt to get to that speed. Thumbs Up

That's why I keep one of mine from when I bought the car and the second gets done at the petrol station for each tank full.
