I am the complete opposite. I prefer the early ACC. Could not get to grips with it in the new RRS, although, I suspect that may just be down to my driving style |

Im a fan on long motorway journeys but it could be improved if you could adjust the rate of acceleration back up to the set speed as often I find it too harsh back up to speed. How do you find it in the SC ? does it kick down to get back up to speed as quickly as possible ? 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

It varies to be honest, I pulled away from a junction and hit "Resume" and it slowly built up the speed, and then started to get quicker later on in the cycle.

Sorry but distances need to increase not decrease. Bigger the distance the less red brake lights.

Very true Gaz and i often enjoy the inside lane for that simple fact tha i can sit at 56mpg without much issue and at the safe distance or a little less without issue.

How do you steer if you are 1m behind a huge Artic? You just have to follow blindly and hope he goes where you need to go... |

It looks like I'm one of the few who does not like the ACC function. It's OK on motorways (ish) but I found it would go into panic mode on autoroutes/autobahn when rapidly approaching a truck on a curve. It would also slow the car down imperceptibly when catching up a slightly slower vehicle and having latched on you suddenly find that you are travelling 20 mph slower than planned as they slow down too. I suppose if I set the gap to a lower distance it would be more noticeable.
