Steering column lock

Need some advice,my iid tool has thrown up these fault codes for Steering Lock ECU

1- 2A locking plate fault when motor locking
2- 1E locking error
3- 17 locking operation error
4- 1A locking plate fault when motor unlocking
5- 1C unlocking error

Reckon its the motor or locking bolt that is the problem,maybe the ECU.
Has anybody got these before and any thoughts on it...?

Think you can turn the lock off - I'd do that, rather that than it get stuck in the lock pos

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought IIDTool could do it.
