I have always found that disappointing on landrover products. If they spent another £100 having things plated or galvanised etc it would just make such a better product. The next one I get will be up on the ramps and waxed everywhere. Previously..

The rust might not be down to the vehicle, countless times I have seen range rovers and land rovers used to launch a boat axle deep in the sea, or showing off driving at speed through saltwater splashes on the beach - don't people realise what saltwater does to brake components, electrics and rust only last week a brand new RRS up to its bumpers launching a chaparral - FFS what an idiot 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

That rusty and on an '07. Stuff was tight on my '02 suspension that had been on it since birth, but with patience and persuasion it all came apart OK (with the exception of the nuts on the rear toe bar nuts which I had to cut/drill off - see wiki)

Well given that its a good friend of mine who's doing the work for me at no charge and not an independent, I doubt it's in his interest to send me back and forth from his workshop. Alas, I'll have to wait another week before its all sorted. |
