United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Baltic Blue
P38 to new TDV8

Hi everyone. I found this forum a week or so back and it looks a great source of RR info.

I'm getting my new Vogue TDV8 in a couple of weeks (providing they keep to the third delivery date so far) - administrator, there was no Baltic Blue to select on the registration page (and yes I'm still on to get that colour despite the paint changes).

I now need to think about selling my P38 4.0 County which I've owned from new - I was hoping to find a similar P38 Forum to this but can't find one (in fact that's how I discovered this site). Is there one? Or can I post it on the marketplace here? Any other ideas - or will it have to be Ebay?

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Bonatti Grey
Hello all

This site has been a godsend to me over the last few weeks. Having been a BMW ///M car disciple for many years I finally lost my 4x4 virginity 3 years ago when I purchased a Cayenne Turbo S.

Having just sold the last M car in my collection my father in law (a Harwoods LR main dealer employee) convinced me to look at the FFRR.

I'm proud to say that I have just placed a deposit on a fully loaded 2006MY vogue se sc in Bonatti grey with Ivory leather which I am due to collect next week, once the service has been completed.

I apologise in advance as I am bound to ask many stupid questions, but as a car forum veteran I will endeavour to use the search function first.

Regards
Bruno

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Hello All,

Just a quickie to introduce myself and say how useful the site is, and how helpful the existing members have already been. Big thanks to Andy (Ajay) for the wealth of information regarding Westfalia towbars at the right price.

I collected my 07 TDV8 this week, but unfortunately after 3 days of ownership it is already back with the dealer for investigation of a coolant leak! Shocked

I was one of the rare ones who had a D3 for 3 years without so much as a niggle (other than the obilgatory EGR valves) so feeling a bit troubled at the minute but I'm sure they'll sort it out and I won't regret the swap at all Confused . Always the optimist!

Cheers guys, and hope to speak to you all soon on the forums.

Rich

Cheers guys! I can get the sense of mutual suffering already.....

Cracked thermostat housing apparently. They just offered me a ford focus as a loan car - I asked how I'm supposed to fit 3 muddy labradors in there. I only have 1 labrador, but it's a valid questio!

Greetings

Hi. I am fighting the compulsion to buy a late model P38, thought hanging about the forum would tip me off the fence one way or the other!

2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zermatt Silver

Hi All,

Felt it was time to comment on how great this site is.

Purchased an early BMW version L322 Vogue 4.4 in Silver just on 4 years ago. Fitted a nice set of 22 inch wheels, BMW ULF Bluetooth and then enjoyed a reasonable period of trouble free motoring before things got exciting.

Failures that required a toe truck to get the beast home again include; failed auto tranmission, split radiator hose, failed alternator/flat battery, split radiator core, failed water pump, failed fuelpump, failed 22inch rim and punctured air strut. Big Cry These issues were well spread of a 2 year period.

With the exception of the transmission rebuild Censored this site not only provided me with the comfort I was seeking after each event but also all the informtion I needed to confidently perfrom all required repairs myself. This site is a great source of knowledge and has helped me save many repair $$$$$

Many people are critical of the Land Rover product, Sad but despite the many potential failures one may experiance they are a great machine. I have found the positive experiance to be far greater then the negative and plan to purchase an updated model in the near future.

Thanks fullfatr Bow down
