Bulgaria 2011 Range Rover Autobiography Black 4.4 V8 Barolo Black

Hi guys,

have a 3.6 2007 for 3 years and love it. Been following the forum for some time and just registered. My sphere of interest is maintaining the car in the best possible way and retrofitting interesting specs.

Netherlands 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Giverny Green

Hi there, new L322 owner here. She's a 2002 4.4v8 in Giverny Green (or Lucerne, I forgot what the previous owner told us...). She's been a bit of an impulse buy, the wife and me went looking for an offroader to go camping with and the L322 was just the combination of comfort and capabilities. Read myself up on common issues, maintenance, how to spot deferred maintenance for this model etc. viewing our new RR was meant to check what our money would buy and then continue looking but she was perfect for what we wanted with the previous owner doting on her as much as he could.

She won't be a daily but that just means more time for proper care.
Looking forward to learning from y'all!

United States 2010 Range Rover HSE 5.0 V8 Nara Bronze
Hi everyone

Hi everybody!

I've had my 2010 5.0 NA for 3.5 years, about 115k on it, and my daughter tells me we ARE NOT ever getting rid of the range, not that I'd want to. I just got my IID G3 earlier this week, because unfortunately, I finally could justify needing it.

I've benefited from this site for a long time Bow down , but honestly I could use some help.

Sometime soon, I'm planning to do the timing chain [mine has the "tick" on a hot day after parking for 10m-1h], but first up will be my shorted CAN bus Shocked .

I'm looking forward to learning from everyone here.

Hello! First RR - TDV8 4.4

Well hello all.
First time RR owner here, a 2011 TDV8 4.4 in Santorini Black. Come from a long line of Volvo's, last a 2007 XC90 which was going to need some serious work for the next MOT........ so time to chop that in at a very friendly dealer and scratch the RR itch!

Did my research, and it seemed that, on balance, the TDV8 has the least problems, (I know this is a matter of much discussion!!), but it looked like the best option for me.
Much searching found a 93500mile 2011 model in with cream leather, (sorry - but I can't stand black interiors!), with FSH and a new MOT. It truely was Love at First Drive!

So far absolutely delighted, it was a 178 mile drive home from the dealers and what a wonderful trip - a 70mph armchair on wheels........ (yes, only 70 on the M6 officer, honest Wink )
One niggle that I'll post about in Technical shortly, but so far the RR does not disappoint.

Certain I'll be popping up with all sorts of daft questions - but in the meantime It's Good To Belong!

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

Hi all, recently bought a 2013 sdv8 and looking for advice already! Went into restricted performance mode immediately after filling it up with diesel a couple of weeks ago and engine wouldn’t turn off. Eventually managed to stop the engine somehow and sorted it at the roadside by getting out and locking the car and the restarting it and all was fine again. All very odd and a bit worrying. Took it to an independent specialist who found 4 pages worth of error codes. Remedy was two new batteries. Next problem is the lack of an engine dipstick.
Apart from that it’s a lovely car to drive and surprisingly economical.
