United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Corris Grey
Hi all

Hi all

I have a 3.0 TDV6 Vogue 2017 model Corris Grey metallic with Ebony hide. 60,000 miles. FSH.
Spec includes: full glass sliding panoramic sunroof, rear view camera, adaptive xenon headlights with LED signature lighting, lane departure system, four zone automatic climate control, piano gloss black interior trim, electric heated front & rear seats, Meridian surround sound system, DAB digital tuner, front armrest cool box, tyre pressure monitoring system, digital TV tuner, in control touch pro infotainment / navigation system with DVD player.

First RR for me. History of all sorts really. Jaguars, Audi, Mercedes & BMW’s over the years. Always aspired to a ‘proper’ Range Rover. Eventually pushed the button, using the mantra ‘if you want one, get one, as we’re only here once’…

Looking forward to using & contributing to the group.

Hi

I have been around for "years" & active on the Disco3 forum for 12 or more years.

I'm Censored nearly 81 years old and have owned a number of FFRRs, and multiple other JLR products over the years. I am very content with my current D4 which has done less than 60k miles, but when I next change my car the replacement is likely to be a petrol FFLR.

In the interim I shall be selling my 2 MGs, when I get round to it Exclamation

My first FFRR was a 3 door vehicle with few "creature comforts", twin carbs. rubber matting & no PAS. I soon added PAS, and drove that car for c. 250k miles during which time I fitted a new John Eales engine when the first started failing at 180k miles.

NJSS Am I Gammon or Woke ? - I neither know nor care.

2016 Discovery 4 Landmark
2011 Mercedes Benz SL350 (R230)
1973 MG B GT V8 - 3.9L John Eales engine, 5 speed R380 gearbox, since 1975.
1959 MGA roadster - 1.9L Peter Burgess Engine - 5 speed gearbox
Past LRs - Multiple FFRs, Discos & a Series I - some petrol, some diesel,
none Electric or H2 fuel cell - yet.

Hello again! After 10+ years of car leasing i'm desperate to scratch the FFRR itch. I signed-up to this excellent site in 2011, so i'm the definition of a lurker!

I'm still scared to death by all the potential FFRR issues, but i'm closer than i've ever been to diving it at the deep end.

Before I sign off... a big thanks to all the site admins and regular posters, as this is by far the best mode-specific forum i've ever been a member of, and I hope I can contribute in some way soon 🤞

Steve.

Hello all.

Hi all, I have a 3.0 TDV6 Vogue SE 2016 model Santorini Black with Cream / Ebony interior. 75k miles. Full main dealer service history. Welcome all you new folks, hope you don’t have too many issues we can help with! Laughing
Nice to see a good sprinkling of very nice “new” TDV6 owners too, of course they are the most refined, smooth, and quiet FFRR, and I say that without a hint of bias! Whistle Welcome guys! Very Happy “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Ipanema Sand

Hello from the midlands!
I have moved over from many years of RRS 3.6 ownership with many trials and tribulations that come with green oval ownership, and finally acquired a 2011 4.4 AB. I have managed to cure most of my issues with the help of the sister forum to this one and am looking forward to the many woes ahead with this new venture and of course the wealth of knowledge to be gleaned from all the nice people on here. In the first 2 weeks of ownership I have already changed all the discs, pads and shoes (the state of the rear pads and shoes were horrendous for having FSH!), start button replaced, fixed heated drivers seat (seat base peltier reading 8 ohms on blue and yellow, now 0.2 and working fine), replaced broken fuel filler cap hinge, all round new gas struts (no more bonnet slightly sagging to a close by a gentle breeze and tailgate now closes smoothly on its own weight for the last foot or so of travel), removed and I seized rear wiper arm giving uniform sweep contact now. Cosmetically - removed dark crease marks from seats, still creased just the same colour and not so obvious, re-blacked all the black trim, removed wheel arch liners and rust converted any signs of rot and wax oiled behind before refitting. I make it out to be a neglected vehicle but it’s not, I’m just very fussy like that. That is the attraction for me always something to do that can actually be done by ourselves! (I even have the wife’s MY14 2.2 Evoque to contend with also and that’s had it’s fair share of attention). So looking forward to being an active member passing on and sharing experiences over the coming years - without this forum I’m sure we wouldn’t be able to keep these on the road without making the MD’s even wealthier than they already are. Once again hello to you all after my little input.
Kris

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

Hi all,

I have been lurking in the background for a couple of years and would like to thank all the contributors to this extremely informative forum.

I had to scratch my Range Rover itch and bought my L322 Westminster privately back in 2020 with great trepidation, no guarantee and zero mechanical skills. It looked good, had 53,000 miles on the clock and I took it straight to my local specialist RCV for a check up. Good news; only the engine oil cooler was leaking and the sleepless nights subsided. I changed the battery as a precautionary measure and since then I have had a few of the usual issues all discussed on fullfatrr.com (blower motor - the only shock; starter motor; some mild surface rust on rear wheel arches) over an enjoyable 18,000 miles. I only drive it on 10 mile plus journeys which should help keep most gremlins at bay.

David

Fit like!

New member here, rather obviously Smile

Hoping to gain insight as to a potential purchase that might avoid having to choke on a huge brave pill!

Always been a pick up owner with the odd Audi in between. And a LC200 Landcruiser which was frankly underwhelming.

Cheers!
