England 2002 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Oslo Blue

GOOD MORNING TO EVERYBODY, I am new to the site and have owned my L322 for six months, I love the car but have experienced several faults ranging from throttles position sensor to a overheating air compressor, which I have had sorted. I look forward to running the car for a few years. Is there anything I should do to it to make it easier to live with!?
It's a 02 4.4 V8 with a brc log system.
Thanks in advance Thumbs Up

Hi I we wondering if anybody can help me with a small issue with my 2004 vogue td6 ,it has developed a central locking issue that unlocks the front doors but not the rear ,then for no reason at all decides to work again ,it's not handy as I have my two kids with me they may have to jump over the front seats to get in the back ,it's not great and I only got the car on Friday !!!

Hi all Smile

Been lurking for a few weeks now and joined up earlier this week, very informative forum, I've gleaned a lot of information already, I appreciate the hard work that goes into a forum like this and hope I'll be able to contribute at some stage.

On the lookout for a L322 at the moment, so I may have some questions as the purchase draws closer.

Cheers,
Sean

Qatar 2006 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Hi there... UK expat working in the ME. Just come into the possession of a L322 2006 Range Rover HSE, which is showing its age a bit, so good to see there is a wealth of information on the forum.

I am sure I will be posting a fair few questions in the near future and doing a lot of late night digging through the threads.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Santorini Black

Hello. Just introducing myself. Only found this forum recently and hoping to contribute.

After a run of 5 Land Rovers, I've only owned Range Rovers since 1994. The first was a 1981 2-door In-Vogue that was bought needing an engine rebuild and quite a lot of other things and used it for an off-roading car. Kept that from about 1994-2005. Next was a 2000 P38 4.6 Vogue that I had converted to run on LPG and took from 88k to 176k between 2006 and 2011. Current car is a 2004 L322 4.4 Vogue that bought at 89k in 2011, had converted to LPG again and is now on 131k.

An extra Range Rover was a 2002 L322 that had been converted to LPG and was bought from a friend of a friend as a non-runner with broken timing chain guides. I replaced the guides before selling it on for a nice profit.

I've occasionally worked as a freelance mechanic with a Cheshire based independent Land Rover workshop, and have some (limited) knowledge of fixing the things that have gone wrong on my cars and those clients have brought in.

Latest project on mine was changing the front-end to the 2008 supercharged version, that I still need to sort the headlight washers. Have got involved in the past with fixing problem headlights and getting Amps fixed and mine now has a working original DSP system with the extra Aux connection for an iPod and a working factory fitted phone system.

Look forward to getting involved in solving problems on Range Rovers Current:
- 2017 L405 3.0 V6 Autobiography
Sold:
- 2013 L405 4.4 TDV8 Vogue
- 2004 L322 4.4 Vogue (BRC LPG)
- 2002 L322 4.4 HSE (having fixed timing chain guides)
- 2000 P38 4.6 Vogue (BRC LPG)
- 1981 2-door In-Vogue
- 1980 Ex-Army SIII LWB
- 1976 SIII LWB
- 1968 SIIA
Stripped for parts:
- 2003 L322 4.4 Vogue

Hi,
Introducing myself as a new owner of an 2004 Range Rover Vogue.
I want to remove the bonnet grill to repaint it, is it simple to remove.
I can see 4 clips under the bonnet but no method of releasing them.
Any suggestion.
Cheers Bob

If you’d like to move to the South of France, I’ll let you tinker with mine … Wink It's "bĂ©bĂ©choon", ackcherly, with accents. 'Steve' to my chums.
20 years ownership of Solihull products, ALL GONE NOW, sniff!
Current motor: Suzuki S-Cross 4WD auto, 1.4 petrol. Oh so reliable! 7 years now and no problems. Oh, all right then, a leaking shocker replaced under guarantee.

Hi everyone,

I have been lurking on this forum for a month or so to enable me to get as much information as possible before taking the plunge.
Originally I was seeking a RRS but after looking in the RRS forum and this one and the various 'RRS vs FFRR' threads I decided if I purchased an RRS I might always be looking at the big boys and wished I could play with them!

So I have just put my deposit down on a black FFRR 2011 4.4 Autobiography, hopefully pick it up at the end of the week.

I look forward to being a contributing member and may even meet some of you in the future.

Cheers

Gerry
