2009 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey
Hello everyone and P023D fault

Hi Everyone,

My better half had to call the AA the other day. Our RR TDV8(09) lost power and the P023D fault was shown on the dash. Anyway, AA checked all levels, did a diagnostic test and reset. Did a test drive and all seemed OK and followed my wife home and the car was fine.

Yesterday, I took it for a test drive and noticed some billowing smoke on hard acceleration then it cleared. The car seems to be running OK, I will however take it to a specialist to try and find the source of the fault. In the meantime I'm keeping my fingers crossed its nothing major - anybody any ideas what the usual source of a P023D fault is?

Thanks in anticipation

I hope it turns out ok- the one problem with the car is the low range which doesn't swap over- any ideas?? Big or little issue

Welcome Thumbs Up

It's a very common fault, do a search http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/search.php?...rch_time=0

Also, look at this

The transfer shift motor is expensive, if it's not throwing up any faults on the dash I would just live with it.... Thumbs Up 2006 4.2 SC

Hello to the Forum, I have been a member for a while but not owning a FF have not posted until now.
I have been a Land Rover, Range Rover owner most of my life having Many Classics and 5 P38`s in my time. I still have a very nice 2002 P38. I have always done my own maintenance and my cars are used for what they were designed for. Now living in West Oz there is unlimited scope for off road adventure. I have recently picked up a 2003 TD6 which I am knocking into shape for touring and towing an off road camper.

Thanks for the prompt suggestion. That's what I thought, it needs looking at but any idea on the causes of loss of pressure?

Thanks

Hello to the Forum:
I´m Shinchan from Santiago de Compostela in Spain...next week I´ll take my first FFRR MY12 4.4 TDV8 with 70.000 kms and finish my british conversion (also I´ve a modified Triumph bike)...
I´d like to install the heated & vented seats. If is possible and anyone know the procedure to install them please tell me!
Also I need a tow bar.

Much cheaper to buy a new car I'm afraid Sad
Apart from the seats you need new wiring looms , new ECU's , new switch panel and finely to rewrite the Car Configuration Files .
You could on the other hand put in the better seats from a Vogue without cooling , that would just be a straight swap if you can find the right colour Thumbs Up 2008 MY Supercharged
