2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver
Lower tail gate not opening

Help!!!

A new problem on my 2004 rangy the lower tail gate wont open. I can hear the motor operating when I push the button but it won't open - any ideas?

The emergency releases down each edge should open it. Then you can at least take a look at the mechanisms.
