its not horrendous mpg for a such a big vehicle. My knockabout Jag is a 3.0 and I get a 180 miles to about £55. which is a about the same as leadfoot in his TD6

Why thank you kind sir. But I've never managed to get less than 550 from a tank in one and a half years. (30,000 miles) I did manage 680 once, but I got fed up of tailgating lorries at 62mph. |

I get between 21.7 -22.7 mpg from my TD6 ,equating to around 480-500 miles per tank full (assuming the 22gal capacity mentioned is correct). Sounds about right , I'm a bit heavy footed aswell. Steve

bleedin ell. Might have to get it checked out then! I do tend to get it going in traffic, although not heavily. Its showing 19.8 on the OBC at the moment.

I think the V8 and the TD6 can be quite close in fuel consumption. It makes it hard to justify having the 6 cylinder diesel............ |

My TD6 would get maximum 525 miles to a tank

I'm getting about 220 miles to 75l of LPG @ 55ppl which costs just over £40.... |
