The FFRR tank is 22 gallons I believe. So to get 350 on a tank would mean getting just under 16mpg if my maths is correct.

Does someone have lead boots on? Shocked

its not horrendous mpg for a such a big vehicle. My knockabout Jag is a 3.0 and I get a Censored 180 miles to about £55. which is a about the same as leadfoot in his TD6

650 miles from one tank is bordering on legendary though! You must drive like miss daisy Laughing

Why thank you kind sir. Laughing
But I've never managed to get less than 550 from a tank in one and a half years. (30,000 miles)
I did manage 680 once, but I got fed up of tailgating lorries at 62mph. Wink

680?? That must be some kind of record!!

I used to get around 400 miles from a tank in my TD6 and about 250 miles for 50 litres of LPG.

What do the TDV8 drivers get from a tank????

I get between 21.7 -22.7 mpg from my TD6 ,equating to around 480-500 miles per tank full (assuming the 22gal capacity mentioned is correct). Sounds about right , I'm a bit heavy footed aswell. Steve

Shocked bleedin ell. Might have to get it checked out then! I do tend to get it going in traffic, although not heavily. Its showing 19.8 on the OBC at the moment.

My fuel guage is still faulty though, so it might be a case of when I think its empty, theres a bit left. Don't want to chance it though! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I think the V8 and the TD6 can be quite close in fuel consumption. It makes it hard to justify having the 6 cylinder diesel............

My TD6 would get maximum 525 miles to a tank

My TDV8 gets to 500...just, mostly about 480 miles though, but then I have to say, I can get less fuel in the tank when filling up than I thought I would, once, even when the range said 0 miles I could only get 90 litres in. Discovery 4 HSE
