seems to be the correct part number , does the spline bit in the old arm come out and then fit into the new arm.. ... - .- -.

no its not a removable part its cast as part of the old arm

i've googled that part number and loads have it specified for the l322, maybe ducky Dan could enlighten the situation but he's probably off till monday.. ... - .- -.

There were no splines on mine when I replaced it. The arm is cast aluminium, and I figured that the splines on the shaft imprinted onto the old arm. I haven't had any problems so far |

I don't think they have splines. I think the taper and the nut create the splines in the wiper arm. That way if anything stops the motor the sacaficial bit is the wiper arm. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
