There's no excuse for that. Everyone knew about the flooding coming and cars are moveable, unlike houses. |

I sense some screwing of the insurance company coming on and some after flood cars being sold as good cars in a few months time by people without scruples. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I agree with the above posters: why weren't the cars (and anything easily movable) moved? Yes, I think the unscrupulous will be reselling those cars as quickly as they can get them (semi) dry.

Defenders will just need a hose down and replacement of fluids.

As far as I know a few dealers start to remove cars from that palce when it was announced that the weater will come that high. But after a shot time the authorities blocked the complete area and nobody got further access to the cars. ;-( One of the dealers lost 250 from 300 cars. It happend never before that the river Inn went over the banks in this kind. Everybody was prepared to handle the flood from the Donau cause it is usual every year to get high groundwater in that place. But nobody was able to know how deep the flood will be. In the news people are talking about that the flood came as quick as a Tsunami

Well I was back again earlier this week and took some pictures or the Danube at a normal level for comparison.
