You can source the parts for much less than that, but it can take time waiting for them to come up. So far I have almost all the parts together at under £1350. Plus you can sell off the old parts for about £400 or so.

Just FYI, the best price I've seen for a conversion is just £2,750 on eBay.

I'd wholeheartedly second all of the above, especially as I've just had mine converted by said Cotswolds based forum sponsor and can report that the work completed is spot on. being based in Surrey, I considered the London based companies but just didn't get the same level of confidence. |

What about when it comes to resale?? How much do these usually add on to the price?

Just as when fitting wheels or other upgrades, you do it for you, not to sell on. However, some professionnal do upgrade L322 to boost sales. Also, I must admit I would not have sold my previous L322 on the spot at the (reasonable) asking price if it had not been nicely facelifted - it just makes you vehicle stand above the rest really, but again, do it for you first. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l Current RANGE ROVER Vogue 4.4L SDV8 - 2013 - Indus Silver, on Almond. As I'll be keeping mine for the foreseeable, although the cost is not inconsiderable (but not anywhere near half the value of the car in my case) I took the view it was worth it to me. Not based on any calculated re-sale value but because in my view, it simply enhances the looks. If LR recognised the benefit of facelifting the exterior of their cars from 2009, given not alot else changed at least for the 2007 onwards models interior wise, I'm simply following their lead |
