Replacement engine in and running

Hi all, a quick update. The replacement engine from Equicar is now in and running, got her back today. Went for a run and smooth as silk, EML came on a couple of times so will take her back Tuesday for a code read. Air Suspension doesn't want to play even with my EAS dongle from allcoms but I guess being left for 3 months hasn't helped there. I drove for 30 mins at about 35/40 just soaking up being in my gorgeous FFR again!!!! Yippee..
I'm lifting the old engine next week and will salvage what is usable if anyone needs anything that is still on it.

Thanks again for all contributions during period of woe.. Cool Owning a Range Rover is the land based version of a boat...a hole in the road in which to throw regular bundles of money!

The block might be rebuildable. Ask a local engine rebuiler or specialist as you'll get a hell of a lot mroe money if its rebuilt as a whole engine with history and invoice to prove rebuild Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
