Towing with air susp. Inactive

I now have the air susp inactive message come up with no lights on the eas switch which I believe to be a compressor fault as I have heard it running longer than normal with it taking longer to raise up. It has been doing this for two days and now says on start up self levelling intact shortly followed by air susp. Inactive. I need to use it to tow my twin axle caravan will that be ok with the suspension being locked..
Cheers roger

I'm no expert but I'd be inclined to disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect & go through the usual procedure of turning the steering wheel from lock to lock & as everything settles back down you might just be lucky & the suspension come back on. As for towing with suspension inactive the suspension seems to have ended up in middle position & I've had to tow my twin axle like that & had no problems whatsoever.

Good luck mate....Robert The reason women's minds are cleaner than a mans mind is that women change their minds more often!
When women say fine a mans in deep doodoo as fine has so many meanings.

Had this fault recently, don't assume compressor at fault, get it plugged in before bashing on. Mine was a height sensor, much cheaper fix. Thumbs Up
