Jesus Mick. Did you eat the whole box of "Grumpy" for breakfast mate? Do what I do. Set up I-tunes with a 25 random character password and don't give it out. Simples. Oh, my little trial for the day.......Boiler packed up. Called one plumber. Never turned up. Called another. 2 effin grand for a new boiler. Suffice to say I'll be doing the repair myself. Damn plumbers need to buy a calculator from Office World, not Fisher Price. |

Probably just needs a new circuit board if its not leaking or a spark generator if it wont fire up ... Bet you weren't feeling too grand when he told you the price ...

Yeah, I got to that Stan. British Gas are coming out tomorrow to fix it. Even though I'm not in their maintenance club they offered to come and do it for £99 all in, inc Parts, Labour, callout and VAT as long as I join their maintenance thingy for 12 months @ £21 a month.

We had new boilers by PGS-SERVICES and they were excellent and include their own free 10 Year Boiler Guarantee (Other than manufacturer). Proper trained Engineers unlike the British Gad cowboys. |

the beauty with british gas is that they can swoop down on your house like ants if they have a problem or need help..i had four fitters and vans parked outside my house when they did my water heater tank and time was getting short, loved the response and commitment.... ... - .- -.

Never had a problem with any BG gas engineers anytime I have had to call them out plus I have 38 Radiators in this house and the engineers even take the time to go round and bleed them all whenever needed ====================================
