recently i have had a knocking on the front and have change anti roll bar links , lower ball joint and lower arm on both sides and the knocking has vanished im now left with a rumbling even at low speeds and gets worse if i turn left putting weight onto the drivers side thats the side the noise seems to come from ive swappped the tyres around finally i have replaced my 3 month old discs and pads in case the rumbling was a warped disc. it sound like warped disc or a bad tyre i even get a wobble if braking ! has anyone had this or know what a diff feesl like on the way out or wheel bearing ps i have no play on the wheel bearing that i can find !! |

I had these done on my car recently it's imperative you have tracking/ alignment done when any of these components are replaced or suspension and wheels will be out of alignment . I would say this is why you are experiencing the vibration / rumble. I can't see it being a wheel bearing as noise has only appeared since components have been replaced. I would bet its an alignment issue not costly about 50 quid. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
