Well I am reconciled to the fact that i can't get the farmers drop plate off so I tidied it all up under there, treating the exhaust to some matt black barbecue paint and the towing bits to some black satin hammerite - looks a treat Geoff |

Well done, I may have a go at the exhausts too! Such a shame you can't get rid of the drop plate. And I'm sure you'll find someone on here who would love your towing cap lol. Bushy

This is one the things I love about this forum, someone tries something and I get motivated to do it.

I'm sure you can do something about the bottom of that drop plate with the help of an angle grinder fitted with a cutting disc.

Chrome exhaust tips aside what colour should the original Supercharged Silencer and exhaust pipes be please. My silencer looks faded black with some silver showing too.. Not sure if it was originally silver/ grey or black and might tidy it too??? |

Get Halfords Black Silk in Can and spray two or three coats. The results are cheap but look great. The box does not get really hot. |
